Vellum/Blends
Balmy Blue/Granny Apple Green/Pacific Point/Basic White/Gold Foil card stock
Different Stamps sets, I used Seaside; Color & Contour w/dies; Lots of Laughs; Simply Glue/Seal/dimensionals/ double oval punch
Gold Gilding/Designer Series Paper/Adhesive Sheets
Alcohol 97%-99%
- Take your vellum and cut to a little larger than your size for the card
- Use your blends on the vellum, just scribble and work them together
- When done with blends, spritz with alcohol
- You can let the alcohol flow or you can blow on it to work the magic
- Let it all dry
- Then use your stamps & dies to make your cards
I used the Seaside dies to cut a seahorse and ran glue down the spines to the tail & over his nose. Let that dry to tacky, gilded with gold.
First Card: Balmy Blue card stock (4 ¼”x11” score 5 ½”): I cut a bunch of fish and coral, made two cards. I cut some seaweed and use the sand stamp across the bottom of the card (Balmy Blue). Added the coral I cut from velum & stuck the seaweed in amongst the coral. Add some fish & bubbles and a sentiment with double oval punch.
Second card: Balmy Blue card stock (4 ¼”x11” score 5 ½”): The Sand & Sea DSP is what I used 5 ¼”x4”. Stamped the Friends Forever (from Lots of laughs) top right…added the seahorse and some fish. Inside I used the rest of the sentiment.
Third card: Pacific Point card stock (5 ½”x 8 ½” score 4 ¼”): 2 BW 5 ¼”x 4”
Run the first BW with Color & Contour dies to make a frame. Add your alcohol vellum to the back of the frame. Stamp sentiment on the vellum, add dimensionals to the back of the frame and adhere to front of the card. Add other BW to inside of the card and add a flower cut from the other vellum and sentiment.
Fourth card: Granny Apple Green card stock (5 ½”x8 ½” score 4 ¼”): Run the Large succulent through on Gold Foil with an adhesive sheet attached. You will need to make so it has 1/8” frame around it. Attach the vellum to the back of the gold foil. Adhere to the card base with glue around the edges and some of the framing inside. Attach sentiment with dimensionals
